After doing comedy-drama, the VJ-turned-actor’s next will be a period love story
Ayushmann Khurrana hit the jackpot with his very first film Vicky Donor and proved his mettle as an actor. Though he failed to impress the audiences with his last film Nautanki Saala, Mr. Khurrana is still very much in demand. We hear the singer-actor has signed Vibhu Puri’s (previously assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali) directorial debut starring Pallavi Sharda in the lead.
Based in the pre-Independence era, the dimpled actor will play a British boy who falls for a Maharashtrian girl. While there has been no official announcement regarding the cast, sources inform us that the Vicky Donor actor liked the script and has been cast to play the lead. Apparently, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will also play a key role in the film.
