Bade Acche Lagte Hain and Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 emerge as the top shows of the year!

And following BALH and KBC are Balika Vadhu in the fiction and Dance India Dance in the non-fiction category

According to the results of a survey conducted by Ormax Media amongst 34,400 Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) viewers across 14 cities, Bade Acche Lagte Hai (with the score of 24.7) and Balika Vadhu (with the score of 18.1) have emerged as the top two fiction shows on Indian television.

In the non-fiction category, Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 (with the score of 29.5) and Dance India Dance (with the score of 22.4) have been the leading shows of the year 2012.

A look at the results and it becomes clear that non-fiction shows are slowly gaining dominance over the fairy-taled melodramas. Does that mean the saas-bahu sagas are slowly but steadily fading into oblivion? Well, that would surely be a nightmarish thought for our dear Ekta Kapoor, no?

Even so, we would like to ask you, dear readers: Do you think non-fiction shows are more entertaining that fiction shows nowadays?
