Given the fact that Badrinath Ki Dulhania has an unabated run at the box office over a week now, this Alia bhatt-Varun Dhawan film is continuing to make rich profits. In 9 days, it has mad a good Rs. 83.77 crore. Next stop is earning the Rs. 100 crore mark which seems cakewalk for it. Taran Adarsh shared the latest figures saying, “#BadrinathKiDulhania is racing towards ₹ 100 cr… [Week 2] Fri 4.21 cr, Sat 5.90 cr. Total: ₹ 83.77 cr. India biz.” We told you how trade was positive that in the second weekend, the film will only make more money. You can see from the break up that after a Rs. 4.21 crore second Friday, it went up to Rs. 5.90 crore on Saturday. Considering the fact that there are no releases worth competing with it, BKD is only getting bigger. BKD has already left the entire collection of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania behind on Friday itself. It seems Varun Dhawan has made it his mission to better himself in such a way that he manages to beat the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan. We already told you how his Badrinath Ki Dulhania has recorded the highest first Monday collection in 2017 beating films like Kaabil, Raees and Jolly LLB 2. Now, it has managed to defeat them again. By earning Rs. 4.21 crore, Varun’s film has managed to earn the best second Friday collection of this year. Now, Jolly LLB 2 on its Second Friday had earned Rs. 4.14 crore, Raees Rs. 2.80 and Kaabil Rs. 2. 51 crore. Clearly, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has become bigger than all the biggies that released this year.

In the coming days, there’s hardly any noteworthy film which can compete with BKD and that means increased numbers. It would be interesting to see how the film earns in total by the end of its run.
