Looks like Ranbir Kapoor playing dumb charades on the big screen and Priyanka Chopra’s autistic girl act has done the trick for the judges of the BIFF
Barfi!, a Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra-Ileana D’Cruz-starrer, seems to be gaining good momentum. The film will soon be shown at a major film festival and director Anurag Basu is quite kicked about the new development.
“There is another good news today for Barfi! team and fans, we got selected for Busan film festival!! Thanks UTV,” Anurag tweeted.
Busan International Film Festival focuses on introducing new films and first-time directors from Asia. And while Barfi! might be a one of a kind movie to be screened at the Busan Cinema Centre in South Korea on October 4, there’s another reason why Anurag is happy and grinning.
Here’s what – director Anurag Basu has secured his first ever U-certificate for Barfi! after dabbling majorly in A-rated movies like Murder, Gangster – A Love Story and Life In a Metro….
Now isn’t that neat? So where’s the party tonight, Mr Basu?
