Befikre box office collection day 10: Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor’s film earns Rs 55.54 crore

Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor‘s Befikre continues its run at the domestic box office after the second weekend. The movie had collected a total amount of Rs 48.75 crore by the end of the first week itself. It saw a further dip on Friday, but recovered once again as it grew over on Saturday and Sunday. Befikre has now collected Rs 55.54 crore nett (Rs 78.86 gross)  in 10 days. Talking about the detailed collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Befikre [Week 2] Fri 1.68 cr, Sat 2.27 cr, Sun 2.84 cr. Weekend 2: Rs 6.79 cr. Total: Rs 55.54 cr. India biz.”

Though this is not a HUGE number, Befikre has had a decent run at the box office considering its limited release. The movie was released in just 2100 screens in India and 800 overseas screens. In fact, it had a great run at the international market as it collected Rs 12.48 crore gross in 3 days. Made on a budget of Rs 70 crore, the film has collected Rs 91.34 crore in the worldwide market. And looking at the whole economics of the movie, Befikre has actually earned more than Rs 50 crore in profits. At the theatres, people have been raving about Ranveer-Vaani’s hot chemistry and Aditya Chopra’s direction. The good word of mouth publicity will push the film in the second week too. However, it will finish its run this Thursday as Aamir Khan‘s Dangal hits screens. Befikre will touch the Rs 60 crore mark in its lifetime run.
