Big Star Entertainment Awards 2012 winners’ list: Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif win Best Couple!

The third Big Star Entertainment Awards 2012, held in Mumbai on Sunday, December 16 at the Andheri Sports Complex, threw up some surprises. Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, who starred together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, were adjudged the Best Couple for the film! Katrina won both major awards for acting – Best Actress in a Romantic Role for Jab Tak Hai Jaan and the Best Actress in an Action Role for her film with Salman Khan, Ek Tha Tiger. While SRK also won Entertainer of the Year for JTJH.
Abhishek Bachchan tweeted about his award, “Just won Best Actor – Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!!” He added, “Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. ALL the actors and technicians and AD’s. I share this award with them.” He further thanked director Rohit Shetty and co-actor Ajay Devgn for it, saying, “And especially @ajaydevgn and Rohit. For their trust, faith and guidance. Would not have been possible without them #Brother4Life”.
Kareena Kapoor took home the Best Actor for Thriller award for Talaash, while Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress (Critics) award for her glam role in Cocktail.
Khiladi Akshay Kumar was honoured with the Best Actor in an Action Role trophy for Rowdy Rathore. As a producer, he won Best Film (Social) for OMG! Oh My God. Akki’s film Housefull 2, directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, was the Best Comedy at the awards.
Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra won the Best Actor Male and Female awards for their heartwarming love story, Barfi!. Gangs of Wasseypur girl Huma Qureshi was ecstatic upon winning the Best Debut Award.

The Big Star Entertainment Awards will air on Star Plus on Friday, December 31 at 10pm.

Oh come on seriously??? Anybody other thn srk & Kat for JTHJ shud hv won d award of Best Couple, Srk and Katrina looked sooo bad. Srk looked old and very bad infront of Katrina’s beauty. And Wht kind of awards were these? They gave everybody an award, No awards to Salman? Its like they dnt want anybody to feel bad. Made so many categories for lead actors only :O WHY not also do same for the songs, albums and singers, movies, etc too? And srk entertainer of d year seriously??? He only did one movie tht also was d most boring movie ever, hw did he entertain us? Shudnt Akshay shud hv gotten this awards he got 3 releases this year and all of thm were hits. JTHJ is the most boring movie of the year n the chemistry between SRK n Katrina is awful.. SRK looks very old in this movie. He should stop acting as a romantic hero.. The awards are so biased…
