Bigg Boss 7: Salman Khan dragged into the Armaan Kohli-Sofia Hayat controversy

The Dabangg Khan will soon be recording his statement on Armaan-Sofia episode that took place inside the Bigg Boss house

Salman Khan has found himself amidst yet another legal controversy. The host of Bigg Boss 7 has been ushered to record his statement with the Lonavala police station on the Armaan Kohli-Sofia Hayat episode. The Jai Ho actor is being considered as one of the witness’ in this case. Sallu who has played the host for this popular reality show might not have expected to get embroiled in another legal battle, after his own woes with law.

Sofia had alleged in her FIR stated that the host and makers were biased towards Armaan and had ensured that he was retained in the show till the end. Salman has been actively involved in this show and is often seen doling advice to the contestants. Some also believe that the actor monitors the show closely. There were also rumours suggesting Sallu’s bias towards friend Ajay Devgn’s sister-in-law Tanishaa Mukherji. However having landed in a legal soup, wethinks that the host will now refrain from suggesting friends for the show.

While Salman is yet to give a statement, Armaan Kohli who was arrested yesterday has been booked under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code.
