‘Bigg Boss’ season 6 – back to Lonavala?

The new season of the popular reality show might not be held in Karjat, as it was last year

Colors’ reality show Bigg Boss might host its sixth season in a new house. Rumours are that the sets – built exclusively for the TV show – will go back to its original town of Lonavala. The reality show hosted by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt last year was shifted to Karjat in its fifth season. The reason was apparently trouble created by a political party during Bigg Boss 4 due to the presence of two contestants of Pakistani origin on the show – Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali.

Last season’s set, created by interior designer Shyam Bhatia, had the mandatory bright colours carefully selected in order to create disharmony among the contestants. Reports suggest that National Award-winning Bollywood art director Sabu Cyril will design the new Bigg Boss house. The veteran has created sets for movies such as RA.One, Agneepath, Robot, Tezz, Om Shanti Om, Guru, Wanted, Main Hoon Na, hey Ram, Gardish, Kala Pani, Hera Pheri, Tees Maar Khan, Aladin, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhagam Bhag, Yuva, Asoka and Pukar, to name a few.

Hopefully we see a better aesthetic in Bigg Boss 6! The new season, hosted by Salman Khan, begins October 2012.
