Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan made their filmy debuts together with Student Of The Year and are since then, they have been the best of buddies. However, of late, the competition between the two has given rise to a sort of rivalry between them. The duo however, never let their professional rivalry to affect their friendship. Talking of professional rivalry, Varun Dhawan’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which released this weekend had a bumper opening as expected. But did it manage to overtake Sidharth Malhotra’s Ek Villain collections? We ask…

We dug deep and pitted the two films’ collections against each other. Varun’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania managed to earn Rs 33.74 crores on the opening weekend, whereas Sidharth’s Ek Villain grossed Rs 50.70 crore on the opening weekend. So that pretty much shows as to who among the two is the clear box office king.
