The Rs 100 crore club is a new devil, one that has increasingly taken centre stage during every movie release like Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Barfi!, Bol Bachchan, Son Of Sardaar… And even though all the actors and directors out there may crib and complain that they do not believe in it, there would not be a single one who doesn’t wish to be a part of it. And while we’re not saying that all the films that make 100 crore collections at the box office will be certified great films. It is still a mark for a good film, and at times is used to separate the good from the bad. And 2012 was a year where the highest amount of films crossed the 100 crore mark. So, here’s us taking a look at what were those films that were not just mindless entertainers and truly stood apart.
