‘Twas a season of exchanging rings, tying on mangalsutras and taking vows. Long standing relationships materialised into marital bliss, which was all glitz and glamour

Weddings are always an especially grand affair, calling in near and dear ones to join in the fun and celebration. And when the wedding is of someone from the filmi family, the list of ‘near and dear’ extends across the board. So which was B-town’s best band, bajaa, baraat? Cast in your vote by December 28. – actors, directors, producers, singers, musicians, designers, politicians, industrialists…the list is endless.

Amidst all the hype and hooplah, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor cemented their five-year courtship, and took the marital plunge. Officially and finally they became Saifeena, in an astonishingly restrained manner. Riteish Deshmukh and his lady love Genelia D’Souza continued their coy smiling and coochie-cooing all through the wedding ceremony and reception. Vidya Balan and her UTV head honcho beau Siddharth Roy Kapur avoided prying eyes and settled for a close knit family affair at his sprawling Cuffe Parade apartment. But nothing in Bollywood is ever low key; so all these so-called ‘close-knit, only-for-family weddings’ eventually translated into grandeur-laden celebrations, lavish parties and extravagant receptions.

Vid and Sid had the best wedding this year, in my opinion. It was kept simple, no big fat wedding, and yet the did pose for the cameras whenever they could. No play of a publicity stunt or whatsoever – they both seem like they genuinely wanted to get married for the right reasons. I wish them well.

Ofcourse no doubt Riteish-Genelia<3 thats what call true love they both love each other only from the beginning & they got married too & all the functions were grand! they both r made for each other <3
