Box office report: Rajdhani Express sinks, while Table No. 21 barely manages to stay afloat!

The two movies fail to make any impact on the audience and the box office alike

The year has just begun, and for Bollywood, not on a bright note. The two movies, Table No. 21 starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Paresh Rawal and Tena Desae, and Rajdhani Express starring Leander Paes, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Jimmy Shergill which released on January 4, haven’t managed to create any buzz at the box office.

The game show based action thriller, Table No. 21 managed to rake in just Rs 6.34 crores over the weekend. It opened to an average collection of Rs 1.55 crores on Friday, and collected Rs 2.04 cores and Rs 2.75 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and it might just manage to recover its budget. On the other hand, Paes’ debut movie was so uninspiring that it has tanked without a trace, and the collections aren’t even worth mentioning.

Well, with Matru Ki Bijkee Ka Mandola releasing next week, we hope that the box office will see better days this month!
