The who’s who of television industry mingled with the biggies of B-town at the red carpet of the glamorous award show
It’s December – the awards season, where an actor’s entire year’s effort is lauded and honoured. And last night was no different. At the red carpet of the Colors Golden Petal Awards, stars from the television industry appeared to be in great spirits, and actors from shows like Uttaran and Sasural Simar Ka showed up looking like their reel-life characters, all decked up to the hilt in gold. Avika Gor even broke into a little gig on the song Fevicol se. But the true stars of the evening were Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor, who walked in nonchalantly and performed to the songs from Dabangg 2. Farah Khan too was spotted chatting with the media.
While Anil looked eager to start work on his new show 24, Farah looked like she had shed a few pounds. Among other things, she spoke about how she was looking forward to Dabangg 2, and also expressed concern over Manisha Koirala’s health. Though Farah said she was constantly checking on Manisha, she refused to divulge any other details.
The awards will be telecast on December 30, and the winners will remain a super secret till then. But watch this space as we get you some inside news!
