Daawat-e-Ishq trailer: 5 things we would love to watch in the Aditya Roy Kapur-Parineeti Chopra starrer

Trailers set the tone of a film in the minds of the audience and with Aditya Chopra’s latest production venture it’s going to remain the same. Everyone has their expectations from a film. We have ours. Read on to find out….

The trailer of the Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra starrer Daawat-e-ishq is all set to release this evening. But before it gets its light in the day we put out our wishlist from the trailer. Here it goes:

-We have seen romcoms in the past and Parineeti has prominently featured in some of them. We would not want to see a similar romcom. We expect something different from Aditya and Parineeti as their pairing is fresh.

-From what we have heard, Aditya plays a chef in the film, a concept which has been used in Bollywood from time immemorial. From Rajesh Khanna in Baawarchi to Shah Rukh Khan in Duplicate and from Amitabh Bachchan in Cheeni Kum to Saif Ali Khan in Salaam Namaste, chefs as heroes have always been loved by audiences. We would not want to break the same. We hope Aditya manages to impress us as a chef.

-The movie has been shot mostly in Lucknow and Hyderabad, both of which are considered as cities of Nawabs, who love to maintain their age old tehzeeb and rubab. We would not want Aditya Chopra’s latest production to westernise the outlook of the cities to suit the theme of his film.

-TV’s chocolate boy, Karan Wahi, will make his debut with Daawat-e-ishq. As his fans we would want him as well to have a considerable role in the film. We would not want him to just play a blink and a miss part.

-Said-Wajid have given great music this year in films like Jai Ho, Main Tera Hero and Heropanti. We are looking forward for some fun numbers in their latest film.

So that was our wish list from the makers of Daawat-e-ishq. So go ahead BollywoodLifers, let us know as to what you expect from, not just the film’s trailer, but also the film in the whole.
