Honestly, we think he was simply poking fun at his own image of a possessive boyfriend

Gossip mongers flitting around B-town love to tell stories about how Salman Khan is a possessive boyfriend. He doesn’t change himself for anyone, it is said, whether it’s Aishwarya Rai or Katrina Kaif. Apparently, we are not the only ones who hear such stories. An incident at a recent event revealed that Salman knows exactly what is being said about him, but doesn’t care a damn. In fact, he is quite happy making fun of this tag that he’s been given.

It all happened on the sets of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance Li’l Masters – a reality show that pits children against each other on the dance floor. Sallu and Kat visited the sets to promote their upcoming movie, Ek Tha Tiger. You all know that Sallu loves kids; he even produced Chillar Party, remember? But when a group of children wanted to perform a special dance they had prepared for Katrina, he mock threatened them by saying,“I will deal with you guys later.” When the show’s host asked him if he would dance with the older women present on the sets, he readily agreed, but on condition that they didn’t call any of the older men to dance with Kat! Ha ha!

Salman had no qualms playing the ‘possessive’ boyfriend, even though the two broke up a long time ago. It was a sweet way to have some fun, and Kat didn’t look uncomfortable with it at all. But we wonder if having fun was the only reason our superstar did what he did.Or did he playact because he essays a similar character in Ek Tha Tiger? Isn’t that how stars usually promote their films nowadays? By extending their onscreen personas off screen too? Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn did it for Bol Bachchan, Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh did it for Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor did it during Teri Meri Kahaani…the list is endless.
