Dara Singh continues to be critical

The veteran actor has been in the ICU since Saturday

Wrestler turned actor Dara Singh was admitted to Andheri’s Kokilaben hospital on Saturday, following a cardiac arrest. His condition has been critical since then. According to hospital sources, his health hasn’t improved in the last 12 hours. Doctors have confirmed that the veteran actor is on the ventilator and is receiving high dose of medication to support his blood pressure.

His son, Vindoo Dara Singh said that his father is still under observation. “There is a blood clot in his brain or he has suffered heart attack. We are not sure what has happened. We have been told that he is under observation for 24 hours,” he said.

The actor, who became a household name with his role as Hanuman in Doordarshan’s TV series, Mahabharat, was last seen playing Kareena Kapoor’s grandfather in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met.
