Dear Zindagi box office collection day 6: Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt’s film continues its magnificent run, earns Rs 44 crore

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt‘s Dear Zindagi continued its magnificent run at the domestic box office on day 6. The movie had already raked in Rs 40.75 crore in 5 days and on day 6 (Wednesday), the movie added another Rs 3.25 crore to the total. This means Dear Zindagi‘s tally now stands at Rs 44 crore. As Taran Adarsh revealed about the detailed collections in his tweet, “#DearZindagi Fri 8.75 cr, Sat 11.25 cr, Sun 12.50 cr, Mon 4.25 cr, Tue 4 cr, Wed 3.25 cr. Total: Rs 44 cr. India biz.”

Dear Zindagi was one of the most exciting films of the year and it has lived up to everyone’s expectations. Everyone has loved the storyline and the songs. Alia and Shah Rukh have impressed everyone with their performance. SRK’s charm, as always, made people go gaga. The youth have connected with Dear Zindagi too. For those of you who don’t know, Dear Zindagi was released in just 1200 screens in India. This not only reduced the distribution costs, but also increased the occupancy levels. In the overseas market too, Alia and SRK’s movie performed tremendously. In 600 screens, Dear Zindagi collected Rs 27.45 crore in 4 days. Currently, the worldwide collection of the movie stands at Rs 89.93 crore. Cool na?

Made on a budget of Rs 22 crore (only the landing cost), the Gauri Shinde directorial has already been profitable. In fact, even if you add the publicity and advertising costs, the makers spent only Rs 35 crore on Dear Zindagi. This means, it has made a profit of more than Rs 50 crore in just 6 days, if we consider the worldwide collections.
