Dedh Ishqiya: Huma Qureshi, Madhuri Dixit, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi posters revealed!

The posters of the sequel to Ishqiya look fab, with all four stars ravishing in their very promising new avatars…

Huma Qureshi was the last actor finalised for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Dedh Ishqiya and the poster that revealed her look left us wondering why it took her so long to be signed on.
We sure are asking for more. In the image, the gorgeous damsel has a certain edge to her and with the look on her pretty face, she definitely seems to mean business. The actor reportedly has some hot and steamy scenes with Arshad Warsi as co-star and what remains to be seen is whether Huma will prove to be a better seductress than Vidya Balan was in Ishqiya. Remember that thumb-sucking moment….!

The next on the poster list is the Dhak dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit, who plays the role of a courtesan, Begum Para. The picture shows her performing a dance sequence, revealing her graceful posture in a traditional anarkali and churidaar, but covering her face with a gauzy dupatta. The image has us wondering how the lady stays so charmingly ageless – and we are eager to see more of this avatar that Madhuri has taken on for the film.

Arshad Warsi aka Babban looks like a typical desi gunda in the poster. What with that sly smile and a gun in his hand, he looks adorably rough-tough sexy, no? The rugged look will surely sweep the ladies off their feet.

Naseeruddin Shah plays Khalujaan in Dedh Ishqiya. The poster makes him look like the classic lover with a white beard and moustache, wearing a bandhgala and holding a rose in one hand. Look closely and you notice that the look in his eyes says something else all together, more devil than angel. Who is he eyeing? Well, the movie will reveal that secret…

Dedh Ishqiya is being directed by Abhishek Chaubey and the movie tells a story of romance, passion and deceit. Rings a bell? Well, it is a sequel to Ishqiya, after all. But we hope that producer Vishal Bhardwaj will take the plot a notch higher…as the posters seem to promise. What do you think, BollywoodLifers?
