Unlike her beau Ranveer Singh who did a cameo in Finding Fanny (no charges applied), the lead actor of the film revealed at the launch of Fanny Re that she thinks differently
At the music launch of the song Fanny Re, the lead actors and director Homi Adjania spoke to the media about the film. Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had a blast while shooting for Homi Adjania’s English film Finding Fanny and that is evident in the number Fanny Re.
Arjun Kapoor mentioned his best friend Ranveer Singh and gushed, “It was fun that Ranveer Singh was a part of Finding Fanny“. But on the subject of doing cameos, Dippy disclosed that she isn’t too keen on doing any in the near future.
Arjun, Deepika and Homi agreed that shooting for Finding Fanny was a joy-ride for the entire crew. The Kapoor lad said, “Homi Adjania approached me for Finding Fanny post Ishaqzaade.” Though intimidated at first, Arjun thought of it as an honour to work with a legendary ensemble cast.
Deepika Padukone revealed her love for co-actor Dimple Kapadia and said, “Dimple ma’am treats me like her daughter. I absolutely love her.” Dippy too found working in Finding Fanny tough initially because it was hard for all actors to get their accents right. But once that happened, all was smooth-sailing.
Homi Adjania claims that it wasn’t difficult for him to get veterans like Pankaj Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia in one frame. The entire crew claimed that Finding Fanny is something that is not usually seen on screen!
