For the first time in her career the Finding Fanny actor will shoot for two films simultaneously
With Shoojit Sircar finalising his dates for Piku in August, it seemed for a while that Deepika Padukone would have to drop out of Sircar’s Piku as it clashed with her lengthy schedule for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha.
Says the source, “Thanks to the extended time frame for Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, Ranbir’s other under-production films are being pushed ahead by the actor (Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos and Imtiaz’s Tamasha in particular). Finally, Ranbir found time to begin shooting for Tamasha in August. Deepika had no choice but to adjust her dates accordingly and in turn, almost say no to Shoojit.”
Shoojit, whose film has been facing heroine problems from the start, insisted on Deepika’s presence in his film. And so, for the first time in her career she will shoot for two films simultaneously. The actress confirms the development. Take heart Deepika, it’s always ek se bhale do!
