Deepika speaks against women’s reservation in education!

Amidst all the controversies surrounding Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, the dusky beauty throws up another one by expressing her opinions quite vehemently on a TV show

Recently, the Aarakshan team showed up at a chat show on a news channel and discussed everything, from loopholes in the education system to the ramifications of the reservation policy. While the conversation was quite interesting, the highlight of the show was a heated discussion between the journo and Deepika Padukone. When the svelte actress was asked if there should be separate reservation for women in the education system, she replied, “I don’t think so. If you ask the woman of today, she wants to be treated as an equal.” The journo didn’t budge and contradicted her by saying, “If you are Prakash Padukone’s daughter, the views are obviously going to be different and if you are not, the need for reservation is surely felt.” The statement didn’t go down too well with the generally calm and composed Dips and she went on to explain how nobody knew that she was a well-known badminton player’s daughter till she got famous. Well, Deepika not only failed to convince the journo with her arguments but also Big B and Prakash Jha. The next time, we expect her to be a little more prepared before she expresses her opinions on a socio-political issue!Subscribe to me on YouTube

It may be her personal opinion. But resveration to Women should be given according to economic position as not in accordance with caste, creed, religion.
