The Raanjhanaa actor to get the richest baritone errr…in fact the voice of the millennium in R Balki’s next
Dhanush who was first introduced to the majority of Indians with the number Why this kolaveri di that became the rage in the country, impressed one and all with his commendable acting skills in Raanjhanaa. Skinny, dark and blessed with tremendous energy, this guy from South made us sit up and take notice of the unconventional talent that he is. And now the 31-year-old is all set to get the voice of the country’s biggest superstar-Amitabh Bachchan. For R Balik’s next untitled flick Dhanush will borrow the rich baritone of Big B for his onscreen character.
Interestingly, Balki, we hear, has roped in Karan Johar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Anurag Basu, Gauri Shinde and Rajkumar Hirani to play themselves in the movie. “They were all superb and really helpful. The shoots went off smoothly. I can’t thank them enough,” said Balki.
But the reason why this movie has caught everybody’s fancy now is because of the fact that Dhanush who plays a deaf- mute junior artiste will get the most iconic voice of all time!
