The father and sons talk about teaming up yet again for the sequel to their 2011 hit comedy caper
Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol believe in the power of family. The trio came together onscreen for the first time in Anil Sharma’s directorial debut, Apne. Later, as Dharmendra felt they needed to make the audiences laugh rather than cry, he started looking out for a project that could bring the three Deols together in a comedy flick. That’s how Yamla Pagla Deewana happened. The box office success of the film encouraged the Deols to make a sequel.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is set to release this Friday and the buzz around the film is positive. In a relaxed tête-à-tête in London, they talk about the new film, the meaning of family and bonding.
