If you think the first half of the year was exciting, with successful releases at regular intervals, the second half is just going to double your enthusiasm and raise anxiety levels for filmmakers. After all, there are some big name stars, big name directors and big banners waiting to show off movies that look exciting and, most of all, great fun! Which of these will you line up to watch first?

The hovering dark clouds have brought more than just rain this season. The monsoon has hit the Bollywood box office too, with an unseasonable shower of hits that have become Rs 100 crore blockbusters. In the first half, sequels scored better – like Race 2 and Aashiqui 2 -and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani outdid any possible competition.

The second half looks quite promising too, as week after week biggies are scheduled to release, be they blockbusters, star vehicles, potential game-changers or exciting sequels.
