B-town celebs poured in for the opening ceremony of the seven day long festival, while Dia Mirza and Yash Chopra lit the inaugural lamp
Found by the late filmmaker, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and conducted by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI), the fanfare for the festival that began yesterday will go on till October 20. Bollywood celebs who made an appearance at the event said that they are expecting the festival to be much bigger and better this year. Gulshan Grover and Kabir Bedi were spotted posing for shutterbugs. Newcomers Ali Fazal and Hazel Keech sashayed around and were seen hobnobbing with people from the fraternity. Dia opted for the traditional avatar and looked gorgeous in a full sleeved salwar kameez. She was also seen bonding with veteran actor, Sarika at the event. Looks like it’s going to be quite a treat for movie buffs as the festival will screen about 200 films from 60 countries.
