Did Kareena Kapoor oust Priyanka Chopra from ‘Agent Vinod’ song?
Though the makers of the film and the actors in it are tight-lipped about the story, the fact remains that Priyanka Chopra was originally invited to do a traditional mujra in Agent Vinod. Apparently it was Kareena who put her foot down and insisted on doing the ‘item number’ herself instead of letting her long time rival steal any of the thunder
Agent Vinod is Saif Ali Khan’s baby. The Nawab of Pataudi turned producer because he always wanted to do a film of this scale. This is Saif’s second film as a producer after Love Aaj Kal and the 41-year-old will be romancing real-life love Kareena Kapoor in the film. It’s an open secret that if you produce a movie, it gives you the power to select a star cast of your choice. At least that’s how it works in Bollywood. We heard that the director of the film Sriram Raghavan was keen to have a classical mujra in Agent Vinod and his first choice to do the number was Priyanka Chopra. But when Kareena found out about it – a little birdie told us with much wicked chortling – she was not particularly happy about the director’s choice and influenced producer-beau Saif to picturise the song on hers rather than letting arch-rival PC steal the limelight with her sexy moves. When questioned about whether Priyanka was even considered for ‘item number’, the Khan dude tried to duck the question and gave a hesitant reply: “The film is stylised in a different way. Every filmmaker these days creates a buzz by incorporating an item number. The hotness quotient goes up by the outfit an item girl wears, her seductive moves and raunchy expressions. There’s a classical mujra in our film. And because Agent Vinod is largely shot in Pakistan, we thought of doing something original and unique, so it had to be a mujra. Well, there was talk of Priyanka doing the song, but Kareena’s character fit the bill, so an additional star was not required!” Now that was such an unconvincing reply from the seasoned actor, we thought!
The buzz is that Priyanka was considering this hatke dance form, but when she learnt of Bebo’s tantrum over the song she chose to refuse the offer and concentrated on Don 2 instead. And now, with Agent Vinod all ready for release, we think the cold war between Priyanka and Bebo is all set to be ignited once again…and we cannot wait for that to happen, ‘coz that gives us more material to have fun with. So don’t be surprised if you see some fireworks adding drama to the PR hype before Agent Vinod makes his dramatic appearance on the big screen!

No this is not true. Kareena was suppose to do a mujra long time back for this… I mean after Sheila came out, Kareena was like she is doing mujra in Agent Vinod. The dance has already been shot and there is a picture of Bebo in it aswell, she is wearing like greenish clothes with hair open and a tikia.
Also Kareena and priyanka just met and hugged and posed for photos together at an award function… So there fight or jealousy makes no sense… Seems like PR for Agent Vinod.
