Dino Morea promotes stray dog adoption with PeTA

Dino Morea spreads the word to adopt dogs across the country. The actor posed with his rescued dog Slidey for a PeTA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaign

Besides Dino Morea, many other celebrities take an active part in stray adoptions. Tanisha and Sohail Khan recently adopted dogs at an adoption fair conducted in Mumbai. The model-turned-actor said Slidey was rescued by his parents when they were living in Bangalore after his younger brother saw the dog was being attacked by some children. Dino feels if one has the right resources, one should not shy away from providing shelter to a homeless dog.  “I think adopting homeless animals, if one has the time, the space and has resources to actually care for them, I think is a wonderful idea,” the 35-year-old said in a statement.  An ad featuring the actor and the dog reads, “Compassion is the fashion. Adopt a Homeless Dog”. The ad was shot by noted photographer Joy Datta.
