The Karan Johar film has manage to rake in more than half of its investment even before its release

If you are wondering whether Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu will manage to set the cash registers ringing, there is no need to. The film has already recovered a major part of its investment and whatever it earns at the box office from here on will only be profit.

Karan Johar has kept the budget of this film under check. It was made with Rs 21 crore and the makers have spent Rs 8 crore on the prints, publicity and advertising. The film has recovered around Rs 15 crore by selling the satellite rights and another Rs 6 crore from the music.

The Imran Khan- Kareena Kapoor starrer has been promoted as a date movie and is being released as a must watch this Valentine’s Day. The buzz around it is positive and Karan Johar is super confident that the stupendous success of Agneepath will also aid Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’s performance at the BO.
