The director is positive that our neighbouring country’s censor board will clear the film
There has been a lot of buzz about Ek Tha Tiger being banned in Pakistan. The film is about an Indian intelligence officer, so it is assumed that it will be anti-Pakistan. Which means it can’t be screened in the country. However, Kabir Khan, who has directed the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-starrer, says that is not true. Kabir told a daily that the film doesn’t have any derogatory references to Pakistan. He’s quite sure that once the censor board watches the film, they’ll agree to let it release in the country.
He’s also optimistic because Salman has a huge fan following in Pakistan. Plus, the movie is releasing on Eid. These two factors too can tilt the decision in favour of Ek Tha Tiger. Kabir is keeping his fingers crossed!
