This is Krystle D’Souza’s second show after Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. While her first show depicted her as an aadarsh and sanskari bahu; Ek Nayi Pehchaan showcases her as tad more practical a person. It is believed that the show will be based on Sridevi’s English Vinglish.
Sooraj Thapar comes across as a strict disciplinarian, who is embarrassed that his wife is uneducated. Nonetheless, he also seems like the kind who encourages women’s education, financial independence and more.
