Ekta Kapoor is angry with ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’ director

A dialogue in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming production Kya Super Kool Hain Hum takes a nasty dig at Nargis Fakhri and Diana Penty. The controversial line caused friction between Ekta and the director of the film, Sachin Yardi

A line from Ekta Kapoor’s production Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, starring Ekta’s brother Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh goes “Pehle ki heroines ke naam hote the Madhubala, Waheeda Rahman, aur ab dekho Penty, Fakhri (Earlier heroines had names like Madhubala and Waheeda Rehman, but now see names are Penty, Fakhri)’.

Apparently Ekta wanted this dialogue to be edited out, as she felt it was in bad taste, but the director of the film Sachin Yardi did not listen to her and that caused friction between them. “Ekta insisted on not using the scene involving the names of Fakhri (Nargis) and Penty (Diana). We argued a lot and I told her that I am the director. It is my film and I will do it my way,” director Sachin Yardi said in an interview.

We must say that The Dirty Picture producer usually knows where to draw the line. Many will agree that Ekta can get her acts dirty, but never mean. Right, BollywoodLifers?
