Anupam Kher’s wifey has managed to beat the other strong contenders in her constituency
After the announcement of high profile candidates by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh has become the spotlight constituency among all other Union Territories for the 2014 General Elections. While Congress fielded veteran politician Pawan Kumar Bansal, BJP has put forward famous film star Kirron Kher and AAP’s candidate is actor Gul Panag. These three pronged candidacy had turned this Union Territory (UT) of India into a battle zone.
And the result is finally out. Kirron Kher has won 45, 933 votes, Pawan Bansal is trailing by 36, 582 votes and Gul Panag has managed to get 30,256 votes.
