The Hawa hawaii babe is back and packs a punch in her comeback film

Director Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish is Sridevi’s comeback film after many years of marriage and motherhood, and that’s enough to get us all excited. After all, we loved Sri in films like Sadma, Mr India and Chandni. Even after all these years she looks gorgeous and her acting is as amazing as ever. If the trailer of English Vinglish is anything to go by, it seems to be a riot and a lot of credit goes to Sridevi. In this light hearted comedy, she will be seen playing the role of a lady who can’t speak English and the sequence of hilarious events that ensues in the process to learn the language forms the rest of the story.

Initial reports said that the film would be a remake of the Hindi TV series Zabaan Sambhalke. But producer R Balki denied this with, “What has been circulating is utter rubbish, and the story of the film is not even remotely close to what has been stated. The only truth is that Amitabh Bachchan is playing a cameo in the film and he shot with us for a day.” Well, whatever the case, thumbs up from us for the trailer. Special mention must be made of the title song, composed by Amit Trivedi and for actor Adil Hussain, who plays the role of Sridevi’s hubby in the film.
