After doing a string of item numbers the choreographer-turned-director loved doing a love song for Karan Johar’s film
Farah Khan is in the news for getting Shahrukh Khan to agree to do her next film and it was quite surprising, especially because it came soon after the now infamous slapgate and patch up thereafter. While all this has been happening, Farah has been busy with her first love – choreography. Many item numbers that she choreographed recently, like, Munni badnaam hui, Sheila ki jawani and Anarkali disco chali, have become huge hits. In a recent interview, she said, “After Munni, Sheila and Anarkali, I had almost turned into an item queen. So it was a welcome relief to go to Kashmir and shoot a love song for Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. The valley was freezing. Bundled up in fur coats, we waddled around like penguins in knee-deep snow as Karan showed me the steps he wanted. I told him that was exactly what he was not getting.” It reminds us of Farah’s first song as a choreographer, Pehla nasha, with which she made an amazing entry into Bollywood. If this love song being shot in Kashmir is just as good, KJo will be rolling in cinema gold.
