Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani produce a film called ‘Fukrey’

The title of the film sounded quite derogatory until we found out that it’s a Delhi slang which means someone who’s good for nothing or has nothing to do

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are one helluva deadly duo. The two have created delightful films together. As FA and RS have upped the ante by introducing the audience to some unforgettable films like Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, we hope their next movie as producers matches our humble expectations again. So we hear Fukrey is going to be a high-octane youth-oriented film about a bunch of young kids from college. It’s going to have the typical North-Indian flavour and will be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Although Mrigdeep’s first film Teen They Bhai failed miserably, Akhtar and Sidhwani have placed their implicit trust in the director and have asked him to go ahead with the project.

The cast is yet to be finalised and rumours suggest that we will get to see new faces in this fun flick. The concept of the film sounds like Vicky Donor meets Dil Chahta Hai to us. Let’s see if it turns out to be a hit flick like these two!Subscribe to me on YouTube
