While these B-townies have an impressive screen presence individually, we are quite sure that they will spell magic when they come together to form never seen before onscreen couples

While we will see favourites Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone and the much talked about Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif pairing in 2014 in Happy New Year and Jagga Jassos respectively, the year will also see fresh couples too. In 2013, we loved the sizzling jodi of

Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s love saga Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and the super cute twosome of Shahid Kapoor and Illeana D’cruz in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. Though the film did not do as well at the box office, the jodi was a super hit!

This year too, the year has a lot of fresh double acts to look forward to. Take a look…

Salman Khan – Daisy Shah

The Dabanng dude is seen opposite newcomer Daisy in brother Sohail Khan’s Jai Ho, that released last weekend. The film is one of the biggest this year, especially since Sallu hasn’t been seen on the big screen since 2012.

Sidharth Malhotra – Parineeti Chopra

The two will share screen space in Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap’s first production together, directed by Vinil Mathew. In the trailers of Hasee Toh Phasee, we really like the innocent onscreen chemistry and the freshness that the Student Of The Year actor and the Shuddh Desi Romance star bring with them.

Ranveer Singh – Priyanka Chopra

The two highly energetic actors will be soon seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Gunday. Apart from PeeCee and the Lootera man, the film also stars Arjun Kapoor. This will be Singh’s first release after the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. We are also excited to see the Exotic babe on the big screen after a really long time – she has been busier as an international singing sensation than a movie star!

Vidya Balan – Farhan Akhtar

The two talented actors will soon be seen in the romantic comedy Shaadi Ke Side Effects, directed by Saket Chaudhary. The film is about how a young couple tries to rediscover love after marriage and parenthood. In SKSE, Vidya plays a modern, stylish woman who works in an ad agency and is married to Sid Roy, played by Farhan Akhtar.

Alia Bhatt – Arjun Kapoor

The two alleged real life lovebirds will be seen in 2 States produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. Since a lot has been already said about the two young stars professionally and otherwise, we are really looking forward to see them together on the silver screen.

Ranbir Kapoor – Anushka Sharma

The much talked about film starring RK Jr and the Jab Tak Hai Jaan girl is based on the story of how the city of Mumbai became a metropolis, set against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and jazz music. Bombay Velvet will have Ranbir essaying the role of a street fighter, while Anushka will play a jazz singer. Karan Johar too will be seen in this period drama as the antagonist.

Alia Bhatt – Dhanush

These two are just a film old in Bollywood. As per reports, the Bhatt girl is heading South. The Highway actor will apparently be seen in director Vettrimaran’s next starring the Raanjhanaa actor. While we are quite excited to see this hatke jodi, even if it is in a South film. Aren’t you, peeps?
