Trailers set the tone of a film in the minds of the audience and with Homi Adajania’s latest directorial it’s going to remain the same. Everyone has their expectations from a film. We have ours. Read on to find out….
The trailer of the Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia starrer Finding Fanny is all set to release tonight. But before it gets its light in the day we put out our wishlist from the trailer. Here it goes:
-Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are sharing screen space for the first time. Although we don’t know as to whether they are paired opposite each other or not, but if they are, we definitely hope to see a new chemistry brewing between the two. We hope their new pairing will work wonders at the box-office.
-Stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur are part of the film, which increases expectations from the movie altogether.
-Homi Adajania’s last two films Cocktail and Being Cyrus, have worked really well at the box-office and we hope his magic remains for this one as well.
-Dimple Kapadia has always played wacky characters in Homi Adajania’s past films. She played the quirky Parsi landlady Katy Sethna in Being Cyrus, and followed it up with the loud mouthed Punjabi mother Kavita Kapoor in Cocktail. We hope she repeats her superb performance in this film as well.
-There are hardly any films in India (except Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara) that have been based on road trips. Finding Fanny promises to based on a road trip and we hope it comes out well.
-Homi Adajania’s films have always had that specific chic look and this film too has the same. Being Cyrus had that specific Parsi-Goan feel in it while Cocktail had that stylish Cape Town outlook. By the posters this film too seems to have a similar outlook. We hope that comes out well in the film as well.
-Deepika Padukone has been riding high on the success of so many back back hits. We hope this film too enjoys the Midas touch of DP.
So that was our wish list from the makers of Finding Fanny. Go ahead BollywoodLifers, let us know as to what you expect from, not just the film’s trailer, but also the film in the whole.
