Fugly song Dhup chik: Mohit Marwah and Vijendra Singh’s desi party number is repetitive yet upbeat!

The new song from Akki’s production venture Fugly is out and it’s completely entertaining courtesy Raftaar’s wacky lyrics and vibrant music

After Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan’s special number, the makers of Fugly have now released a new song which  features Mohit Marwah, Vijendra Singh, Kiara Advani and Arfi Lamba. This one has been composed, sung and penned by Raftaar. And we must admit the Punjabi rapper has dolled out a funky foot-tapping number. But unlike most of his songs, this one is very desi and we aren’t complaining coz its totally worth hearing. Apart from Raftaar, the additional vocals are by Aastha Gill. Coming to the video, the lead stars of Akshay’s film are seen partying in a dhaba and the whole setting is very colourful with firang babes grooving to this dhamaal song. However, the most interesting aspect of Dhup chik is that fact that it has been crooned in Haryanvi dialect. Kudos to Raftaar for picking up the right accent and singing it effortlessly. But we do think he could have done better with the music coz it stays at the same pace throughout. If there is no high point in a party number then it becomes more like a regular song, hai na?

Overall, the singer-composer-lyricist has done a good job. While we liked Raftaar’s latest offering, Bollywoodlifers you hear the song, watch the video and tell us what you think of Dhup chik!
