Fugly title song making: Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan mentor Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Kiara Advani and Arfi Lamba!

The song has slowly but steadily come on to the top of the music charts. Read on to know what went behind making it…

The makers of Fugly have come up with the making video of the title track from the film. The song has already been a huge hit among masses and has equally drawn flak from various human interest groups, which claim that the song’s lyrics hurt the sentiments of the LGBT community. The song features newcomers Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Kiara Advani and Arfi Lamba along with superstar presence of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. The two superstars are seen coming late for the shoot, but they manage to save some time by riding on their bikes rather than staying stuck in traffic.

The song’s choreography by Mudassar Khan has been really appreciated, especially the spider steps. The making video shows him performing the steps and teaching it to the actors. Also director Kabir Sadanand speaks as to what goes behind making the song and why he decided to have such a special number in the film. Vintee Bansal, the production designer, also speaks a lot about the feel of the song. She explains as to why and what all went behind making the set look like a construction site. Akshay Kumar is, however, pretty rude while talking to the making guy but somehow his co-producer, Ashvini Yardi, rescues the situation.

The making definitely seems to be as rocking as the song itself and as Akshay Kumar finally announces Fugly means fighting ugly, we can hope that the film will also be equally engaging and full of action.
