Watch the hot Pakistani import give the Sheilas and Munnis a run for their money
Finally, the much-talked about Veena Malik item number in Gali Gali Chor Hai is out. Composed by Anu Malik and sung by Mamta Sharma (who sang Munni badnaam hui), this song has the potential to be a rage in single screen theatres. Surprisingly, the Channo song sounds a lot like the Tinku jiya item number from Yamla Pagla Deewana. Thanks to the song, Veena will now have a new moniker – desi item bomb. She sizzles, doles out thumkas and happily heaves her glow-in-the-dark bosom as her co-dancers look on with lecherous delight. The lyrics are laced with typical rustic puns and the entire song has a village theme that reminds us a bit of Munni but not very much, as in many ways, it is worse. Veena tries hard but her bad make up and even worse costumes only hamper her efforts. Remember, this was the song that was touted to be Nicole Kidman’s debut Bollywood item number. After watching the song, all we can say is: Nicole, lucky escape. But what do you think? Like it or hate it? Tell us!
