Sarah-Jane Dias says, “Vidya Balan was just too good in Ishqiya. You really need something special to play a role like that. She is so believable it’s unreal.”

But it did happen recently VJ-turned-actress Sarah Jane Dias, who plays Abhishek Bachchan’s lover in Abhinay Deo’s Game, is a true filmi at heart and wishes she could have been a part of masala movies like Band Bajaa Baraat, Kaminey, Ishqiya. Actually, I can’t even say Ishqiya,” says the newbie, “…there is no way in hell that I would be able to play it. Vidya Balan was just too good! You really need something special to play a role like that. She is so believable, it’s unreal.” That’s not all, “Another actress I feel like this about is Shahana Goswami. I would have loved to play her role in Firaaq, but at this point I don’t think I can do justice to it. I think it will take me a lot more time to do that.” We like the honesty, Sarah-Jane, but we hope that you keep your word and pick your roles based on the substance not the skin!
