Gauri Khan, happy 42nd birthday!

As the better half of Shahrukh Khan turns a year older today, we are quite impressed with the way the mother of two has created an identity for herself, apart from being King Khan’s wife

Born on October 8,1971, Gauri Khan is an accomplished producer and a passionate interior designer. She loves anything to do with fashion and design – and isn’t that plainly evident in the way she dresses! From being on the cover of popular fashion glossies to endorsing brands with her superstar husband Shahrukh Khan, Gauri is quite a fashionista who knows how to carry herself with great confidence. And although she can be very camera shy at times, the media often gets a whiff of what she’s up to through some source or the other. Gauri and Hrithik Roshan’s wife Sussanne Roshan are known to be pretty close friends. The last we heard was that Mrs Khan launched her own line of furniture in partnership with Sussanne’s design store -The Charcoal Project.

Gauri has been independently producing movies since 2004. Her first project was Main Hoon Na, which was also Farah Khan’s directorial debut. Her latest production ventures are Student of the Year, Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
