Gautamiputra Satakarni to have more war sequences than Baahubali 2?

The makers of the upcoming Telugu historic drama “Gautamiputra Satakarni”, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, have shot four epic war sequences, which, according to a source, will be the biggest highlight of the film. Wait, does this mean it will have more WAR seuqences than the grand historical drama Baahubali 2?

“The war sequences will stun audiences. Two war episodes were shot in Georgia, and the makers spent a fortune on it. Rest of the war sequences were shot in India. The raw footage itself looks amazing and with the visual effects it will be epic,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS. Over the weekend, the principal shooting of the project was wrapped up. “Except for some patch work, which will be shot on Wednesday, the rest of the film has been completed. They have planned to complete the film in 80 days but with great planning it was completed in 79 days only,” he said. The audio and trailer of the film will be launched on December 16 in Tirupathi. The film is about the unsung ruler from the Satavahana dynasty. It also stars Shriya Saran, Hema Malini and Kabir Bedi. Shriya Saran plays Vashishta Devi int he mvoie, her first look was stunning, sophisticated and regal.

The film will mark the comeback of actor-turned politician Nandamuri Balakrishna to the big screen after a long gap. The movie is set for a Pongal 2017 release. But here’s the thing, another veteran actor is making a comeback to the big screen – Chiranjeevi with Khaidi no 150 around the same time. The movie is a Telugu remake of Tamil movie Kaththi. The megastar will play a double role in this film. It also stars Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. So, will Khaidi no1 50 clash with Gautamiputra Satakarni? Also, Vijay’s Bairavaa and Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai are planned for a Pongal release. Well the festive date is sure looking crowded!
