Ghanchakkar title track: What is Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi’s spontaneous jholampatti all about?

This new number from the Vidya-Emraan starrer is as quirky and hilarious as it can get!

Reflecting the mood of Rajkumar Gupta’s hatke production Ghanchakkar – starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead role – the title song Ghanchakkar babu is quirky in its lyrics and bizarre in terms of picturisation. In this venture, Emraan plays a Maharashtrian guy who suffers from amnesia. He is trapped in some jhol which involves huge money but he’s not able to recollect what the fuss is all about. Vidya is playing a feisty Punjabi lady and Emraan’s wife. Her colourful personality, we are told, adds the much needed spicy tadka to the eccentric plot.

From Emraan attempting to put a knife in his undies to Vidya trying to be an overt seductress, the visuals of this track are bizarre and stay true to its lyrics which are peppered with words like thukampatti, Nalasopara, lafda and continuous jholampatti. The movie will hit the screens on June 28, 2013. But before that happens, you watch the song and tell us what Vidya and Emraan’s spontaneous jholampatti is all about?
