In her own words, a ‘film director & proud mother of triplets’, since her debut as a choreographer in Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar, Farah has been entertaining us like only she can, and we wish her the best on her birthday
Farah Khan started from scratch in Bollywood and it has been two decades since she has contributed to Bollywood in her own way. In a male dominated industry, Farah made a name for herself not just as a choreographer but also as a director with a unique ‘filmy’ vision. She plays to the gallery and makes no bones about it. Her closeness to Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are a part of industry folklore. She has to her credit, bringing together, on-screen, almost all the popular Bollywood actors, for a song in her film, Om Shanti Om. Though her last outing as director, Tees Maar Khan tanked at the BO, she is already geared up for her next, Happy New Year. Interestingly, this was supposed to be her first film which kept on getting delayed, for one reason or the other. She claims that her next film will be bigger than all her films and that itself is a tall claim. Presently, she is helping her hubby, Shirish Kunder, with the production of his ambitious 3D film, Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha-starrer, Joker. On her birthday, we hope she finally manages to kick-start her most ambitious project Happy New Year and gets back in form to entertain us in typical Farah Khan style!
ALSO WISH: Farhan Akhtar, happy birthday!
