The Joker director celebrates his 39th birthday today

Shirish Kunder is a well known editor and film director. He was born in Mangalore on May 24, 1973. Kunder graduated as an electronics engineer from SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Karnataka. After completing his graduation, Shirish worked for Motorola. He later entered the film industry as an editor. He came into the limelight after editing Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na (2004). Kunder made his directorial debut with 2006 film Jaan-E-Mann, for which he also wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues, apart from composing and editing the background music score. Kunder married director-turned choreographer Farah Khan in 2004. These days Kunder is busy working on his upcoming adventure thriller titled Joker. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Shreyas Talpade, and is set to release on August 31, 2012. We at Bollywoodlife wish Shirish a happy birthday and an eventful year ahead.
