Has Kailash Kher parted ways with his Kailasa bandmates Naresh and Paresh Kamath?

The singer known for his sufiyana andaaz has turned a solo Bollywood composer

A little birdie tells us that Kailash Kher will soon be composing music for films solo. That is, without his Kailasa bandmates Naresh and Paresh Kamath. Kher has earlier composed music for Bollywood films like Dasavidanya and Chandni Chowk to China with his bandmates and this is the first time he’s going solo. However, there’s no drift between the Kailasa bandmates. We hear that Naresh and Paresh encouraged Kher to go solo and they will continue to be a trio for band Kailasa. Kailash Kher says, “We are a family and we work closely as a team always and will continue to do so.”

Kailash Kher is donning the cap of a music composer for Anand Kumar’s Desi Katte. Rekha Bhardwaj, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shankar Mahadevan too have lent their voices for Desi Katte. Apart from this film, which other films is Kailash composing the music for? He says, “I am also composing for another untitled film by Anand as well as Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi’s Z Plus and Hansal Mehta’s forthcoming film. All films are expected to release this year.”

Kailash Kher adds, “I am looking forward to my new definition of filmi music.” We wonder what does he mean by that but we certainly look forward for a pleasant change. ‘Coz there’s no denying that Kher is a super talented singer and will be an amazing music composer, hai na?
