Has Prabhu Dheva not gone for IIFA because of Lok Sabha elections 2014?

The ace director-choreographer-actor is in India, but does that mean he is going to cast his vote? Read on to know…

Prabhu Dheva was all set to skip the polls today and attend IIFA at Tampa Bay and have a fantastic weekend there, but all his plans were spoilt because of one small incident. We wonder what…

Our khabroos inform us that his passport was misplaced by the organisers of the gala glitzy Bollywood awards and therefore he had to go to Chennai and file and FIR for the same. “Prabhu Dheva was expected to fly to Florida with his family. But their passports were misplaced and he had to file a police complaint in Chennai,” said a source talking to a leading daily. Prabhu was supposed to be there with his sons and have a great time after having skillfully skipped the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to a leading daily Prabhu said, ”If you lose your passport, you have to file a police complaint immediately. My sons and I were looking forward to this trip but all our plans have been ruined. We’ve applied for fresh passports but the authorities might take a while to issue them. Till then, it’s back to work and meetings.”

We do sympathise with the R…Rajkumar director for such a mishap but what we are more concerned about is that now that he is in India, why didn’t he go and vote? Hai na?…Our little birdies inform us that he flew back to Mumbai from Chennai for finalising the details of his next movie and thus he could not vote for any candidate in his electoral constituency in Chennai. Now what can we say about such callousness towards the polls. In a country where every vote matters, when celebs vote, it acts as an added bonus for the common man to come up and vote. But I guess Prabhu was too busy for that. What do you think BollywoodLifers?
