Hate Story 2: Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla get steamy in the remake of Dayavan number!

In 1988, when Madhuri Dixit romanced Vinod Khanna everybody got talking. But Pankaj Udhas and Anuradha Paudwal’s song went on to become a hit and almost 26 years later we have a new version of the same song

Jay Bhanushali’s debut film Hate Story 2 is grabbing a lot of eyeballs, be it his love-making scenes with co-star Surveen Chawla or then the promos of erotic revenge saga. And with their latest song Aaj phir out, we’re certain that the film will continue to be in limelight. Arijit Singh’s rendition of this 1988 hit number is bound to become the latest sensation in Bollywood music. Here’s why you shouldn’t miss this one…

Television’s chocolate boy, who is one of the top hosts on small screen gives it all to his Bollywood debut. He moves away from his sweet boy-next-door image and is at his sexiest best. We’re sure after watching Jay in this film, Ekta Kapoor who gave the actor his big break will definitely sign him for her next project. The chemistry between Surveen and Jay is crackling. The duo look comfortable in their skin and the lovemaking scenes. While the Dayavan consummation song with Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Vinod Khanna was shot in a homely background, the Hate Story 2 song has a plush setting.

The Aashiqui 2 singer, Arijit gives another musical delight for his fans, which will be lapped up immediately. His duet with Samira Koppikar cannot be compared to Pankaj Udhas and Anuradha Paudwal.

The only hitch with this number is, that if you’re stuck in the drawing room with your parents or kids, then it might just leave you red faced or get your hands itching to switch the channel.

Here, BollywoodLifers, take a look at Aaj phir song from Hate Story 2 and tell us if you think it’s better than the original song from Dayavan.
