Hate Story 2 quick movie review: Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali’s erotic revenge saga delivers as promised

The revenge drama starring Jay and Surveen has hit the theatres today

A sequel to the sleeper hit Hate Story starring Paoli Dam and Gulshan Devaiya, Hate Story 2 directed by Vishal Pandya has finally released today. The trailer of the film attracted a lot of eyeballs thanks to the steamy love making scenes between the film’s lead actors. Our critic Vinod Talreja is watching the film at a theatre right now and he has sent us his  first impression of the film.

Vinod says, “Just like the prequel, Hate Story 2 starring Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali is an erotic revenge saga. However, we don’t get to see revenge in the first half of the film. The makers of the film have used lovemaking as its potent tool and there’s sufficient skin show by Surveen, who is being touted as the new sex symbol of Bollywood. All of it is in sync with the story. The film revolves around the life of Sonika (Surveen) who seeks revenge against a brutal politico Mandar Mhatre (played by Sushant Singh) who is using her as his mistress and has killed Akshay (Jay), who falls in love with her. As said, while we don’t see any revenge in the first half, but the second half would be hopefully impressive as Surveen gets to the business and kill the evil.”

Is the movie worth watching?
